International Babywearing Week is October 7-13 and there are some great happenings planned here in Bloomington, Indiana!
The Babywearing Project will be kicking off the week with a Babywearing Walk on Monday at 10:00am. It’ll be a fun way to spend time with other Bloomington babywearers and to increase awareness of babywearing and its benefits!
We’ll meet on the South side of the Courthouse lawn, walk down Kirkwood, through Dunn Woods and Dunn Meadow, and back up to the Square. (We’re taking votes on where to stop for brunch after our walk!)
There’s free three-hour parking in the downtown garages, so don’t let the meters scare you off. If you don’t have a little one to wear, you can borrow one from a friend or come just for fun! (And if you have a little one, but no carrier, please be in touch and we’ll let you use one for the morning!)
To wrap up (pun intended!) the week, join us for a Babywearing Gathering on October 13.
Everyone is welcome~ Bring your carriers (if you have any), your questions, and your babies (if they’re born yet). Learn, teach, visit, swap, consider your options…
We’ll meet in Fountain Square Mall, Suite 308. Take the glass elevator to the 3rd floor, turn right, and go down the steps. Suite 308 will be there on your left. If you have any questions before then, please contact us! See you soon!
