La Leche League is an international, non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.
LLL Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by LLL International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available at monthly meetings or by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.
LLL meetings are a great way to meet other women in an environment that encourages mother-to-mother support. You need not be a LLL member to call leaders or attend meetings. And babies are always welcome!
The Leche League of Bloomington meets twice a month: the first Thursday of the month at 6:45pm at BABS, and on the third Tuesday of the month at 10am at the First United Church (2420 E. Third St.).
Have questions? Call MaryAnn at 334-8494 or stop by a meeting!
For the names and numbers of other leaders please visit the LLL of Bloomington website: http://www.lllusa.org/web/BloomingtonIN.html.
